No experience necessary! Our lessons are designed for complete beginners through to intermediate surfers. Our certified instructors will teach you everything from paddling and balance to catching waves and standing up. We assess your level on the day and adjust the lesson to match your abilities.
Essaouira has waves year-round, but the best conditions are September to April when Atlantic swells are strongest. Summer (June to August) has smaller, gentler waves perfect for beginners. Winter brings bigger, more powerful waves for intermediate and advanced surfers. Water temperature is warm all year, so you'll stay comfortable in every season.
Our group surf lessons start from €30 per person for a 2-hour session, and private lessons are €45 per person. Surfboard and wetsuit rental are always included. Yes, absolutely! We carefully choose beginner-friendly spots in Sidi Kaouki and Essaouira with calm waters and sandy bottoms. Our instructors are certified and trained in water safety. We stay with you throughout the lesson to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in the water at all times.
No — we provide everything you need! Each lesson includes a surfboard, wetsuit, and all instruction. We have beginner-friendly foam boards and wetsuits in all sizes. Just bring yourself, a towel, and your enthusiasm. We also offer board and wetsuit rental separately if you'd like to practice on your own time between lessons.

Yes! We love teaching kids. We work with children from age 6 and up. Our instructors are patient and make lessons fun and playful so kids build confidence quickly. Family lessons are perfect — parents and kids can learn together at their own pace. We adjust the teaching style to each child's personality and comfort level in the water.
A surf lesson is a 2-hour guided instruction session at one beach — we teach you technique and help you catch waves. A surf trip is a full-day adventure (10am to 5pm) where we take you to multiple surf spots based on the day's conditions and your level, giving you more water time and exposure to different breaks. Both include instruction and all equipment.
