Being a twin is a unique experience — sharing every emotion, every dream, spending almost all your time together without ever getting bored of each other. We are Mouhssin and Yassine, twin brothers born and raised in Essaouira, Morocco. Surfing has been part of our lives for over 15 years. Growing up, we shared the same room, the same bed, and an unbreakable bond. Life was not always easy — we had to work hard just to survive. But one thing we always had was a dream: to help our family, follow our passion, and one day open our own surf school on the Atlantic coast. Today, Alhamdulillah, we live that dream every day — welcoming surfers and kitesurfers from all over the world to the waves we grew up on.
We also created the Surf Twins documentary to share our journey — our life, our struggles, and our love for surfing in Morocco — because this story is too real not to tell. With over 15 years of surfing experience and more than a decade as certified instructors, we have built teaching methods that work for every level: complete beginners, intermediates, families, and solo travellers. Every person who surfs with us becomes part of our community.
Our surf school is based in Sidi Kaouki, 25km south of Essaouira — one of Morocco’s finest surf and kitesurf spots, with consistent Atlantic swell, reliable winds, and a peaceful beach atmosphere far from the crowds. We offer surf lessons, kitesurf lessons, guided surf trips, and multi-day surf camps — all tailored to your level and goals.

Our surf school is based in Sidi Kaouki, 25km south of Essaouira — about 25 minutes by car. We offer free transport from Essaouira for all our lessons, trips and packages.
We opened in 2017 after several years working alongside other schools. Since then we have welcomed over 7,000 surfers from more than 50 countries.
Yes — Mouhssin and Yassine are both certified surf and kitesurf instructors with over 15 years experience on the Essaouira coastline. We were ranked in the top 10% of attractions worldwide on TripAdvisor in 2020.
We give lessons in English, French and Arabic. Our guests come from all over the world — you are welcome whatever your language!
